The RIVERVIEW SUITES are owned by Ray and Peggy Stillwell. Both of the Stillwells are Alton natives with most of their family members still living in the area. They are parents of 5 children that are primary concerns in any of their business interests. "It goes beyond providing your family with a comfortable life style. Reinvesting in your community helps maintain a standard of living for generations to come," says Peggy.

"The RIVERVIEW SUITES building has been familiar in the downtown business district of Alton for many years. It attracted our attention when it was unoccupied for several years. We obviously needed to come up with a plan for the use of the building to support the costs of renovating an old building. We would like to see more people in the area utilize the existing buildings instead of new construction because the historic value cannot be created," adds Ray.

"I've never been one to copy the ideas of other people, so the concept of the RIVERVIEW SUITES is truly unique to the Alton area. We have traveled for business and pleasure across the country and we think we have supplied the Suites with all of the amenities we would like to see when we stay somewhere," says Peggy. The Stillwells live in the historic residential area of Alton.
